Suggest a Scanner - 10.4.10 and CS3 compatible

Anyone here got a suggesting for a scanner or brand of scanner? I am on a Mac Pro and will be using photoshop cs3.

Depends on your budget and what you want to scan... personally, I'm partial to Epson scanners.

75-100 dollars? Scanning mostly photos and other things for low-res applications.

I have a HP c3150 all in one printer, but I just have the print drivers for it to print in OSX, the scanner doesn't activate.

I have a HP C3150 (even though I recommended Epson!) - there doesn't seem to be a TWAIN driver for it, but it scans fine using the included scanner software, which can then export to Photoshop.

HP Scanjet 5590, it doesnt work with 10.4 but fine in 10.3,

I am in the same boat as you are, my HP scanner broke after 6 years.

Here is what I was looking, something compact because I really do not use scanners a lot.

Well, if a drum scanner is out of the question, count a vote for HPs.

I, naturally, despise any of their desktops, but their imaging hardware is quite good, from scanners to printers.
