I've got some gif files to have on a site. They're very simple - just a word on a coloured backround, so there are only two colours in each file.

Just wondered if there was a general consensus of settings to use when saving for the web. I've had a bit of a search on the web and found a couple of things, but just wondered what some of the guys on here use.

If your using Photoshop then try save for web, there are some presets in there you can start with.

It's hard to answer the question when you dont tell us what program your using, i.e. if you use preview you don't get any options at all. :)
