Suggestions for 3rd Gen iPod Touch Case?

Does anyone have any recommendations for the third generation iPod Touch case (in terms of maximum protection from drops)? Also, which offers a better protection, hard rubber, plastic, or silicone?

Preferably, the price would be under $20.

As a sort of side thing, would it need a case if it were to be in my pocket or in a backpack pocket with the standard headphones?

I am looking for a similar case. How come this list is for 2g cases? Is the last ipod touch(not the one coming out soon)2g or 3g?

I had a few cases and my personal favorite was the speck rubber skin.

Rebeltouch by far.

I've had one coupled with an invisible shield and when I took it in at the end of my warranty to get a refurb exchange ( dead pixel), they were amazed at the condition. Back was still a gleaming scratch free mirror surface and front was absolutely spotless.

Expensive - yes, no lie. Rebeltouch is 25+3 to ship. Front InvisibleShield is like 15.

But after watching my five year old literally whale on that thing the past year and it still be in that kind of condition - well worth it.
