Hi, I am currently holding on to an iPhone 5, and am due for an upgrade. Previously, I had an iPhone 6, but it bent and I sold it (singapore doesn't allow for returns on bent phones)

I'm looking for a new phone right now. I don't mind getting another iPhone 6, but I am a little adamant about it given how malleable it is.

I'm ideally looking for phones smaller or equivalent to the size of any iPhone 6, and is compatible with one hand usage. Not so much bloatware and perhaps a good keyboard will suffice. Hopefully it will be compatible with the apple environment.

Tried the Z3 but it feels not so smooth in animation, keyboard doesn't feel as accurate. Tried the blackberry Classic, keyboard is fantastic but not sure what will happen with daily use. (Multimedia etc). Don't really fancy Samsung for touch wiz.

I would love to hear suggestions from you guys here, given you guys will be more familiar with the struggles as an iPhone/Mac user.

please and thank you!

Moto X 2014
HTC M8
Lumia 930
LG G3
Note 4
Blackberry Passport

To name but a few

However we are in January now which means in around 10 - 12 weeks time we will likely see the unveiling and release of the new HTC M9 and Samsung Galaxy S6. Alongside hearing rumours and leaks about the LG G4.

Now is not the greatest time to be buying - maybe wait and see what those new devices being to the table before you make a choice.

As for keyboards on android devices - ditch the manufacturer one and install the google keyboard.

As for hardware - hang on a bit till the new HTC and Samsung devices are released.

I definitely will vouch for the HTC One M8 if you can't wait for the M9 or any other phone. I love my M8 and enjoy using it everyday. I love the UI, the feel, and audio quality is brilliant. The camera is really good too. I use VSCO Cam for most of my pics nowadays as I love the editing tools on it, but even with the built-in camera settings, this phone is brilliant!

My only recommendation for you is that if you pursue with this phone, invest in a case!!!

I will echo what others are saying. HTC Samsung and LG will soon (8 weeks)announce or release their new flagship phones. If you can wait then I would wait for those great phones.
But if you are a Mac guy then you might want to give the iPhone 6+ a shot.

I had both the iPhone 6 and 6+. I think they are night and day as far as performance and user experience. I love my 6+ it has become my daily driver for now.
As Lloydbm41 suggested the Nexus 5 seems to be a good fit for the same size as the IP6. It runs pure Android so that would eliminate any OEM skins as well.

Lets us know what you decide to do! :)

Yep my experience too, the iPhone 6 was good, but the 6 plus for me has turned out to be great (despite my initial concerns over its size).
