I'm talking about the iPod Touch 2G here.

If it drops, I don't want the screen to crack or the body of the iPod to scratch.

I don't want to see fingerprints on the screen or case.

I don't want the touch sensitivity to be affected.

Price isn't really an option, but obviously the less outrageous the better.

I'd like to be able to fit it into my pocket.

I'm not looking for a clip or anything that'll let me stand it up.

I don't want something that'll rip, i.e. a rubber cover with tiny piece that separates the USB port from the headphones port.

Suggestions?

SGPSTORE.COM make an anti-fingerprint screen protector for the 2nd gen Touch. I've got one on my cowon S9 and love it. I'll also recommend NoreveUSA for a GREAT leather case for the Touch. Available in several colors, and includes an optional belt clip. Use "CardMe" coupon code to save 10% at Noreve.

I absolutely love my bestskinsever.com skins on my iPods. I wouldn't own one without a skin - it's relatively easy to apply, is seriously strong, doesn't decrease touch sensitivity at all, and keeps the iPod looking brand new all the time. I've tried bulky cases, but they just don't work for me - seems dumb to buy cutting edge sleek slim technology and then put it in a big case that makes it the size of a 1995 Sony Walkman cassette player.
