Hi,
I recently had my superdrive and logic board replaced by an authorized Apple service provider here in Thailand. After I successfully babied the case for the past 5 months, Thai service destroyed it in less than 24 hours...scratched it to bloody hell and back.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for polishing the white outer plastic. I'm not expecting that the deep scratches will come out, but I'd at least like to remove the finer ones.

Someone recommended Turtle Wax...any other ideas?

Thanks for any help.

Having been through this myself, I can tell you, you won't be pleased with any of the solutions offered. But, here's what I've tried with some luck, but, it will never look anywhere near what it looked like before.

1. Brasso
2. Novus steps 1, 2 and 3. You apply the Novus in three steps, starting with step 3. The first step takes out the heavy scratches. Step 2 takes out the lighter scratches. Step 1 polishes.

Like I said, though, none of these are going to give you the look of a new Macbook.

Thanks, I'll try to find the Novus over here in Thailand. I realize the MB will never look like new, but any improvement would be great.

Cheers
