I've decided to upgrade my current two 20" Dell LCD 2001FP normal-width screens. They're getting a bit dull in brightness, so I'll eBay these, and get new ones.
I'm waiting for good deals to show up, but also looking around to see what other models (besides the Dells) that people are using and liking.
Currently, ViewSonic (one of the better monitor companies, IMO) has their VX2025sm ( http://dealnews.com/ ) on sale for $300. I almost snapped two of them up this morning, and the reviews over at Amazon are generally very good, but I don't like that the stands are not adjustable. I'm very tall, and I like my monitors up at eye level. Even with my current stand on my desk, they'd be too low. Also, their bezel is an inch thick. My current Dell's are just below 5/8th of an inch.
Same link above also shows the Dell UltraSharp 2007WFP 20" Widescreen LCD Monitor $367 shipped. If they were in the $300 range, I'd get them in a heartbeat, but I don't think Dell has ever sold them lower than about $350.
Anyone using a 20" LCD that they currently love? I'd actually prefer normal-width monitors to the newer wide screens. But I don't think any manufacturer is selling them any more.
Current setup:
