I would like to know which of these 2 is better at handling fonts? i heard that SF2 stores the fonts that you import into it into a vault of somesort. I haven't used Linotype's FontXplorer in awhile. So I'm not sure whats good. I kind of remember last time using FontXplorer and having to update or move my fonts that it didnt exactly worked out so well when I had to move them to another computer. I don't like how it handles the organization by copying it to a specific folder and then when you move that folder to another computer and point it out, it still wont work too well. Kind of messy and confusing.

So I would like to see your thoughts. I am starting to like SF2 and having all fonts stored in a vault.

I've used both, I use SF2 at school and I use FontExploreX at home. I like the FontExploreX better, it seems to be easier and it's FREE.

Suitcase used to frequently crash on me. I don't know if new versions are any better or not.

FontExplorer is free though and much nicer to use. Still waiting for plugins for Quark 8 and CS4 though unfortunately. The are working on them though I hear.

Having used both at different times I'd go for FontExploreX. I like the interface and, as AlexisV says, it's less crashy.

edit: I've not used Suitcase Fusion 2 (the last version I used was X or XI – can't remember). I may have improved since then.
