No way I would put my business at the mercy of the Edge network. Edge down? No service? Business grinds to a halt...maybe ok for some, but definately not for me.
Show me a network independent locally stored piece of software (i.e. App) and I would consider.

If only the iPhone could get net access from something other than EDGE...man that would be so COOL!
Sarcasm noted, but Wifi access points aren't common enough for me to run a business from my iPhone.
