Summerboard - Fixing all the crashing

Okay im getting a iphone tomorrow with at&t
do i use the http://jailbreakme.com/ site?
and then install summerboard and turn off dimm background and i should have no problems?

Even before I had summerboard installed my apps were crashing like crazy.
Even with Summerboard (NEW one) installed, Dim wallpaper is, by default, set to off. So.....?????????
What kind of crashes were you experiencing? I think this may be the answer to what is happening to mine. For me, let's say I touch iPod to listen to music. Then it brings me to the iPod screen, but then it quickly brings me back to the Home screen without touching anything. So I go back into iPod and I will see the "loading" icon in the center and soon after the phone locks up showing you the Slide bar at the bottom of the screen to unlock it. This basically happens about 80% of the time and it really doesn't matter what icon you initially go into. I've seen on 3 occasions where it will completely froze up. I was just using iPod icon as example, but I've seen it happened the same way when I go into Settings, Photos, Camera, etc. Could this be from the SummerBoard?? I'll try turning off the dim wallpaper to see if this helps. Thanks.
I solved all my crashing issues by downloading mobile finder, and exploring the system files and deleting old app files. I still had apollo, colloquy, TTR, wedict, and a whole bunch of old crap on my phone even after updating to 1.1.1 and uninstalling those items.
I deleted all those files, and I haven't had a single crash since.
