Sunrise Over Sea

[Abstract]

Ok, it's really over an ocean. Anyway, not works of art, but I thought the mornings were great. Both sets of photographs were taken on a Sunday morning, but one was taken on top of a mountain that 3 friends and I hiked up at around 4am, and the other set was taken just yesterday (it's Monday night here right now). Seven or 8 of us went down to one of several lighthouses in the city to watch the sunrise. There's also a bunch of beaches, but we just stuck with the lighthouse.

I guess I could have stuck these photos in the Pictures forum, but hey, gotta support this forum with non-CanonVSNikonVSPentaxVSOlympus threads.

From the mountain.... the 2nd and 3rd photos were actually taken at slightly different times. I just happen to stand in the same spot both times. Its not just me playing around with exposure.

I have no idea why the 2nd photo is so fuzzy now.

I just find lighthouses to be so beautiful! The morning shots are crisp well exposed, especially with the bright sun straight in the camera shot.

You live in a beautiful location!

The picture could be blurry because of compression?

Yeah, it was very difficult for me to take photos while facing the sun. I took around 110 photos that morning, and I only kept around 30-40 of the photos. And even when the sun was well photographed, sometimes everything else was underexposed. You can say that it sometimes works to get silhouettes and such, but not in the photos I'm talking about. I did keep some of them just to have them. They will remind me of that morning, even if they weren't the best.
