Sunrise

I took some pictures of the sun rising over Lake Michigan this morning. I guess it is nothing special since the sun has been rising for billions of years already. But here is what I saw this morning, one of the coolest natural things I have witnessed in the last few months.

I actually like both the way they are and the elements those two things bring to the shots

I wouldn't consider myself an award winning photographer by any means. I think that cropping is kind of cheating, if you didn't want it in the picture you should not have had it in the viewfinder in the first place.

These pictures were taken with an iPhone 4 by the way.

Plus I was too tired to walk to the edge of the water.

Diversey and Lake Shore Drive. After a night of drinking and sort of sobering up I rode my bike from right around Clark and Halsted to the lake. Turned on some Frank Zappa and some Joe Walsh tunes and enjoyed the view.
