Super cheap big budget phone

I gave one of my kids my idol 3(awesome phone) and he cracked the screen. I was looking for a replacement phone and found a thread on slickdeals for a ZTE Zmax for $45 at some Wal-Mart's. On their site it showed $199 but I found two at a local store for $45. It is a 5.7" screen and some kind of cheap quad core. There appears to be a root and roms for it. Has anyone here used one of these? I am about to buy an unlock code off eBay, they are 4-5 dollars

The battery life is awesome. I have had it off charger since this morning and I am at 63% and am at 2h 58 m sot. The phone certainly isn't blazing fast but good enough for most I would think. Signal is very good, better than my Moto G and unlocked Verizon GS6.

Well I'm about to go to bed, this phone is a beast on battery. I am at 32%, I figure 7h sot should be a reality if I pushed it down to 5-10%

Overall I am very impressed. The viewing angles are good, phone calls are clear and signal is great.

Easily the best battery life I have ever had on a phone, this is today and at 49%
