There is something about these 'auto run' games I just don't like. Is it just me or does the sounds of an auto running Mario sound terrible? I'm not a huge Mario Fan but, to be honest, I like the thought of some Nintendo games coming to IOS. Does anyone else thing this is a stupid idea to, essentially, make another auto run game? I would like some controls to go back and feel like I'm playing something other then just jumping. Thoughts?

Some of the levels in the originals actually work like Super Mario Run to begin with - They move constantly and then you end up falling off screen, into lava, or whatever.

I don't like runners too much either, but then the past 8 years have shown that the mainstream market wants one-handed/fast paced games on their phones.

Anyone know when it might be avialable? I know it is tomorrow, but wondering when the App Store usually updates. Is it a midnight think or business hours tomorrow? Yes, I am excited for the first game I have ever wanted to play on a mobile device!

December 15. also. the full game is $9.99. you can play the demo for free but i believe its only 4 levels.

you also can't play it offline.

Sadness!!! Somehow I had written it on my calendar for tomorrow. Yes, I am a total dork. Anyway, yes I know it needs constant internet and the price. I am fine with that:). Phone has unlimited data. Just a bummer I won't be able to use it on an airplane...but I think my back up phone that is t mo might have free wifi on some flights. That might help.

The app no longer say "December 15th" in the App Store but just "coming soon".

Hahaha Nintendo and Apple are a match made in hell in terms of not delivering with the expected dates.

Unfortunately, because I do love both companies.

But they've promoted it on TV shows in the past week as being on sale tomorrow and it's been available to play at the Apple Store.

Way to go Apple. You really know how to ruin Christmas.

They have to release it tomorrow! Otherwise I am throwing a temper tantrum!;)

My App Store still says dec 15. Keeping the hope!

Nintendo is going to do what a Nintendo does. Just look at the Nintendo Classic and the Wii. They are going to only allow a very small number of people to purchase it while they try to "keep up with demand". A few people will get it tomorrow, everyone else can wait in line for a few copies to be released every couple weeks for the next 2 years:)

a lot of Apple stuff hits at 10am US pacific time or 12:01 am same zone. I would look for it around one of them

you really think they would have exclusive demos, etc if they weren't going to meet the release date

I'll try the demo, if I like it and it doesn't use more than a couple of mb of data when I'm playing it I might buy it

I tried the demo at one of the apple stores. its a tad basic, at least in the early levels. but not so bad for a v1 game. especially one that appears to be meant to be kid friendly.

I doubt that is the case here. The final version of the game is already on demo phones in Apple stores.

Apple don't care about the UK anymore. Which, considering our market share, it fair enough.
