SEGA's Super Monkey Ball, currently the top-selling game for the iPhone and iPod Touch, is getting an update in the very near future that will adjust the control sensitivity and possibly add a calibration screen so you can "center" the controls. IGN Wireless dinged Super Monkey Ball heavily for its controls, as it was too easy to over-steer and send the monkey bouncing off the stages. Plus, to make the monkey move forward, you had to tilt the screen too far away from your face. According to SEGA representatives at E3 this week, these concerns are currently being addresses.

This should make the game playable now. I feel better about my $10 purchase after hearing this news. I hope the controls are like that of De Blob.
