Super newbie question....

Hi,
Just received my 17" MBP and have a quick question....
It came with iLife, but I'm not sure what version of iLife is it.
How do I know if it is the iLife 06 or iLife 08 ?

open iphoto, go to file --> about iphoto and it will tell you what version it is.

Thanks for your reply. Didn't know the menu bar of application is in a different window. I sure need to get use to this.

If your iMovie icon is a movie camera inside a gold-colored star, you have iLife '08. If not, you have iLife '06.

Yeah, it came with iLife 08. I thought it will come with iLife 06 and before the MBP arrive, I ordered a new copy of iLife 08. What a waste...

So far, I'm very impressed with OS X and no dead/stuck pixel.

I still have much to learn. Definitely a slight learning curve for Windows user.
