Ok, i'm wavering between buying a Macbook and an iMac, and I already have 2x1GB of Macbook RAM

Checking crucial.com/uk, the specification of RAM for the iMac and Macbook is identical:

200pin SO-DIMM: DDR2 PC2-5300 • CL=5 • UNBUFFERED • NON-ECC • DDR2-667 • 1.8V • 128Meg x 64

Thanks :)

Yes, MacBooks and Core Duo/Core 2 Duo iMacs use the exact same RAM.

I switched RAM between my MacBook and now-sold 20" iMac Core Duo a number of times.

Yes...MacBooks and Intel iMacs (as well as MacBook Pros and Intel Mac minis) use the same RAM...
