Thank you so very much BigMcGuire! Ditto the one who “thought it was me”
Just wasted 54 with an AppleCare tech* trying to find out why the mere 49 pics I shot today aren’t available for view tonight on iCloud
The guy Did claim it could take 24 hours for photos to update, but I thought he was mistaken and protested earnestly and said: do you mean an engineer could go out, take pictures with his iPhone and come back and not be able to show them to his office, clients, colleagues or work on them from his computer until the next day? I couldn’t believe it but are you saying it’s true? Remember, I’m talking 49 pictures, not 100GB here.
* separate issue: perhaps users on this forum know, has A-care just gotten worse n worse to the point of being a service to avoid at this point and I’m just slow on the uptake, or was I just unlucky - again?! The guy claimed to be level two, but was looking up stuff on how to use iCloud and photos while we were working. I knew more and didn’t like that one bit
Issue: why iPhone pictures from today weren’t available for viewing on iCloud this evening. They were only up to date for yesterday night.
Also: I connected my phone to WiFi with great speeds when I got home, plugged into power, checked speed on phone, slower than computers around here but good. Even by 11pm nothing to show for just 49 new iPhone shots.
I connected to WiFi before 6pm.
Later I noticed below the last Photos on phone it says “64 photos uploading” with a grey progress bar. That was at 9pm but still nothing to show friends n family on the big screen logging in to my iCloud Acct
