Okay, I have an odd issue which I was wondering if anyone else has noticed. I've had Developer Preview 5 installed since it came out a week or so ago and haven't noticed this issue until today. For some reason, any WiFi network I connect to is experiencing super slow (or nonexistent) speeds on certain network functions. For example, Safari, Mail, Messages, Dropbox, etc. will appear to be connecting but just time out whereas I can use Chrome or Safari through my VM Fusion 10.7 install. It's really odd, it's as if certain services are being blocked for some reason.

I'm showing a valid network connection and I'm not getting an immediate non-connection message, it's more like everything thinks it is connected but just never receives any data. At the same time Safari is attempting to load, Chrome will load up a website immediately without issue. I've tried a couple of different networks now in different locations, both with the same result. Anyone else seen this?

Exactly the same! I have the same issue on dp5, especially when it wakes up from sleeping mode the wifi seems to be connected but safari and any other "apple apps" are not able to connect to Internet like being blocked or something, but chrome is fine! I think the Internet itself was fine but something went wrong with apple's softwares and we will see if next developer preview will fix this.

Not sure if this helps, but I am running the public beta and I was getting dead slow usenet speeds, and erratic wifi speeds in general. I fiddled with the port forwarding settings on my AEBS and everything went back to normal. The short story for me was that Yosemite didn't like the settings I had previously. (I basically removed some unused ports I had set up for apps I no longer use.)
