what player can play SVCD?
I tried on my normal VCD player but no it can't work...:mad:

They work on my Philips too (although only 4:3 discs work, 16:9 ones get stretched). The easiest thing to do is just try it :)

There are countless players that are VCD compatible!
Just check the technical specifications of a player you are interested in.

Now-a-days, the majority of players are compatible with an array of formats; VCD, SACD, MP3CD, DVD, DVDA, etc. - even the cheap ones!

A year ago I got my Grandparents a DVD player made by Xoro. It plays everything. SVCD, Divx, Xvid, MP3s, never had trouble with any format. They are cheap and not so well built.

They had to get a replacement, because the first player just gave up. But now everything works great.

Yeah i found that site off google too...it's pretty cool now that i know how to encode videos the right way (its pretty easy) on Windows though cos the software are easily available unlike the Mac where u have to spend money which sucks to me...
