For many years, I've used the key command Shift-Control-Eject to turn off my display. However, since a couple of days now, when I use that key command, the CD tray on my Mac Pro opens as well (the display still turns off too). I recently updated to 10.10.4, and perhaps that has something to do with it?

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I just figured it out. I had recently installed a new Windows 7 Virtual machine in VMWare Fusion. And the default setting was to connect to the CD/DVD drive. Once I disconnected the drive in the Fusion settings, everything worked normally again in OS X.
