Superdrive keeps giving medium write error

Hi all,

Can anyone help shed any light on as to why my MBP super drive keeps giving a medium write error when i try to burn audio via itunes?

No matter what format the file it or how many files it keeps doing it. help please


P.s. maybe this should be in the itunes section? Could a mod move it if it should

i just started experiencing the same issue.. it happens no matter what.. i've used different cd brands and am getting the same thing.

was anybody able to find the resolution for the medium write error?

or does it mean that the optical drive on my macbook has gone bad?
