So I just got my Macbook Pro on Thursday and the Superdrive won't read any disks. I have an appointment with the Apple store tomorrow to have it looked at, I was wondering if anyone else ever had to have a superdrive switched and if they did how long does it take and what can I do to speed up the process? Being that it's my first Mac and it is brand new, I think I am just going to whip out my business card and tell them that, I went with Mac to have a good reliable machine, not to have it broken after a couple hours. I mean this was an investment not only for my personal life but mostly for my carer in Audio, I have to re-schedule bands now due to this and I might lose their business as well. So I was wondering if telling the Apple Store manager my situation would speed up the process?
