a quick google search didn't yield a result...

any way to have super duper alert an admin as to the results of a scheduled backup?

would be nice to have a msg saying pass / fail...

anyone know if this can be done?

do you have any more insight than this?

you may as well have said, use keys on the keyboard.

Superduper has an option to run Applescript or Shell Scripts at the end of the copy. Simply create an applescript that sends you an email. Then attach that applescript to the superduper copy. Getting superduper to send a Success/Failure to the applescript is the real trick. I'm sure there's a way to do it, but don't know myself.

I do not know the answer to your question but I have exchanged email with the guy behind super duper on another topic. His reply was quick and helpful. I suggest you ask him.

hmmm - not sure how your response didn't make it to my subscribed list... but I was just coming back here to post:

From Shirt-Pocket:

We support pre-1.3 versions of Growl (they broke compatibility in the most recent version, and we're working on an update), and Growl has a "Mail" notification - that will email success/fail.

Thanks guys!
