I was typing an e-mail and my new Imac shut down. I restarted it and now the fan is blowing very loud. I left it off for about 40 minutes, and the fan is still blowing.

I'm going to call this in as a warranty issue. Does anyone have the phone number for Apple support? Thanks!

I don't think it's something to worry about. Try an SMC reset. It should hopefully work.
