iPhone SE (2016) Support & Tech Shelf Life

I'm debating what phone to get my grandson. The price is fantastic now & it's very underrated, IMO, but my main concern is how long would it be supported & all that.

I'm not super tech savvy so I'm wondering if any of you guys would be leery of it having a short shelf life & be obsolete in either support or tech.

I am not at all sure how much longer the iPhone SE has, but considering the fact that it rocks the same Hardware as an iPhone 6S, I’d say it may have another 2 years in it? I’d be completely shocked if support ended at iOS 13 for it.

Your grandson should be perfectly fine with it.

Im a fan of buying a mint quality 3 year old used iPhone on Swappa if saving money and getting a good phone is the objective.
