Now that I have the iPhone XS Max, (with Forest Green Apple leather case) I really want the eSIM feature yesterday. Let the countdown to eSIM begin.

was curious about how the esim works...just checked under cellular, and it has a switch for "turn on this line" when you turn it off it just auto turns back on after a minute or so....and below that is a "add cellular plan" these were not there earlier, but had a carrier update from verizon after icloud backup...
Are you running stock iOS or developer beta?let me post screenshot

I am running carrier 33.1 Verizon
You have eSIM working, or just confirming the prior post? This is enabled on iOS 12.1
The posters above seem to be confused that is not showing on their phones I guess because they don’t have 12.1 installed. You have eSIM working, or just confirming the prior post?
I don’t think you’ll be able to choose which days to use for what. Once you select one account to use for data, all the data will be used through that account not just some of it.I guess this is as good a place as any to ask this... My provider is Verizon for my personal phone which is my unlocked XS that I purchased outright from Apple. My company phone is a lovely AT&T Kyocera Dura XE Flip. When I put that sim in my XS it worked no problem. I imagine it will be hard to get my company account information to make that the eSim. I'm thinking I can make my Verizon line the eSim line. Both lines have unlimited data. I would like to use my Verizon line for the majority of my use. I would like to use the AT&T line for calls and data for work related tasks. Will it be as simple as I laid it out here or will it not work like that? I really want to stop carrying two phones.

I’m having a similar problem... personal line that I upgraded is Verizon... work is Verizon.... so by default the existing nano SIM card was activated for personal.. leaving eSim available... (if you go to settings-> about you’ll see the one I listed for sim 2... anyways.. I called Verizon up and gave the Miri for sim2 (eSim) and they said there is no record of that in the system... for this phone... she advised I have to wait 24 hours for Verizon’s system to recognize this new phone on the network
