Surround Headphones with Apple TV 2

I'm thinking about getting some wireless surround headphones for watching movies on my Apple TV 2. More specifically I am looking at the Sony MDR-DS6500. What I was wondering though is, can I connect this kind of headphone set directly to the AUX out on the apple tv, or will I need an AMP?

Yep the $300 MDR-DS6500 has an optical input & AC3 decoder, should be just fine. Nice headset.
