Here's what happened.
I got a box showing something was "syncing to mobile" that would not go. This was after installing DataCase on my touch but that may be irrelevant. Then booting took a long time. Then in the waste bin I found a "Recovered Files" containing a directory called plugtmp and in there were crossdomain.xml and crossdomain-1.xml both with this content
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<cross-domain-policy>
<allow-access-from domain="*" />
</cross-domain-policy>
I don't know if there is a safe way for web apps to do this kind of thing but to me it looks highly suspicious. I'm running Firefox and I'm wondering whether I might be running a plug-in to that browser that has sinister intention.
Any thoughts ?
