Hello there,

because of a malfunctioning chip inside the MBP, I had to modify its sleep behavior to suspend-to-disk and remove all power from RAM. The inconvenience of a slower sleep and wake-up is less than losing time due to exhausted battery.

As per this page, I modified the hibernation mode to "1" instead of "3"

But I notice it often does a kernel panic on wake-up, and I still can't understand why.
How would I get a reliable suspend-to-disk behavior?
