Swap an SSD from MBP 2015 to MBA 2014

My wife has an early 2014 Macbook Air. I have a mid 2015 MBP.

I'm about to install a new SSD into my 2015 MBP and I was wondering if I could take my outgoing SSD and put it into her 2014 MBA.
