M4 Pro 16". I see the options in System Prefs > Keyboard > Modifier keys and it sounds like it wasn't natively as supported before...
I had previously posted about frustrations around the bottom left key being fn/globe instead of control, which I am most used to (coming from windows) in addition to this being the layout of external keyboards. So it continues to feel weird on my macbook pro, and even weirded if I am regularly switching between macbook + external keyboard.
So then I wondered about swapping fn+control so they behave more like my muscle memory feels like it should be. But then I thought about taking it a step further, and basically moving:
- fn -> cmd
- control -> fn
- option -> control
- cmd -> option
Basically shifting them all to the left, and just having the cmd next to the keyboard which feels the least used? BUT then I realized this would affect the right side modifier keys too, along with the keys visually being mislabeled (which I don't think is so bad, but meh)
Has anyone else shifted these keys? More than just the fn?
