Hi all,
Having suggested my colleague by an M1 MBA and seeing how good it is, I'm now debating switching out my Late 2013 15" MBPr and 12" MacBook and just getting the MBP 13". Before COVID, I would use the MBP as a home machine and the MacBook with me when going out for emails etc,. As there hasn't been much of that lately, and I reckon even less so going forward, I'm wondering whether to trade both in for an albeit smaller screen, but by the looks of it a better experience.
I mainly use my MBP for photo and video editing - nothing major but enough to need to render out small clips for social media channels. The largest thing I've done recently was a 30 min video at 1080p which started to feel laggy on the MBP but doable. I don't shot in 4k but would be nice to have the headroom.
I'd probably max out the RAM and go for a 1tb SSD.
Anyone in a similar situation with regards to consolidating devices and workflow with these new machines coming out?
