The screen is great. The weight not so much.

Having been able to test drive the cameras but reviews were great.

Battery life is the tie breaker for me. When COVID goes away, I will really need it.

I don’t think you will regret the swap. The screen is really good. I’m coming from the 11 PM, and the difference isn’t huge, but noticeable. I know that others have complained about the weight, but I don’t find it to be heavy at all. What color/capacity are you thinking about?

I made the swap from the Pro to the Max. There are times I think I should have just kept the regular Pro because the Max is big, heavy and uncomfortable to hold sometimes but I watch alot of media on my phone so the bigger screen is awesome and insane battery life makes it worth it for me. The pros outweigh the cons.

For those who consider 12 PM, this may help...

12 PM advantages (vs 12 P):

- much bigger battery and thus battery life
- much bigger main wide angle camera sensor (47%)
- IBIS stabilization...5000 / seconds
- 2.5x telephoto lens...better for portraits
- 2.5x telephoto lens with 5000 / seconds lens stabilization (2x telephoto of Pro only does 1000/sec)
- better stereo sound from speakers
- better gaming due to lack of throttling

12 PM disadvantages:

- ginormous size
- heavier by 25g = 088 ounce = 0.055 lbs
- cost $100 more

I think that's what it's about, the pro's over the cons..or vice versa

Just like the other 50 threads asking the exact same thing, it is all personal preference. One persons big is another persons small. One persons priority is another persons nuance. Just get what you think you value most and move on with life.

I didn't talk about the size, I asked about experiences my friend ;)
Thanks anyway..

If size is not an issue, then why are you hesitating?
I mean size is 1 thing, there is more then just size. Weight, Battery, camera, etc, is worth going for the Max?
So that I can find the right balance between the pros and cons..

I actually just returned my launch day Pro Max yesterday and picked up the pro. I came from the 11PM but was just tired of the weight and not really being able to use it with one hand. I found the picture quality not really noticeable for what I was taking pictures of. Using the 12 pro now, I don’t even realize the difference in the size of the screen.

I think if you use your phone a lot you will be happy with battery life alone
But her current phone (11PM) ALREADY has amazing battery life.

I am a big 12 PM fan...but given her choice, it’s a no-brainer which one she should get.

12PM, for me, is a minor upgrade to 11PM. A mild refinement if you will. The telephoto is better. The UW lens is ever so slightly better. The main lens is only ever so slightly better (sometimes not even)...unless you do ProRAW.

Battery life is about same. Display about same. Audio is slightly better i guess...but most use AirPods anyways. 5G is useless...i leave it on just because it’s there but have not notice one ounce of improvement in cell compared to my wife’s. 11 PM.

The ONLY big change for me is the design (obviously) and improvement in Portraits. The rest is about same.

yes, I agree, although I love the PM, the pro is much more versatile, I can bring it around, skiing, and barely notice it is in my pocked, a good compromise if you will......

Did you exchange 12 pro max for 12 pro? I’m having little bit doubts here, mainly about the size. I want to love it but it’s more forced love. Mainly trying hold to it due to cameras specifications etc.

Just not sure about the size.

yes went down in size, from max to pro, for the same reason! became too cumbersome... love the size of the Pro now! can bring it everywhere!!!!!!!

I was worried about the battery life, however, the battery in the 12 Pro is just slightly smaller than the 7 plus. The 7 plus had great battery life imo, so going to the 12 Pro wasn’t a downgrade for me.
