Hey everyone! Question for anyone that may have done this before. I'm trying to get a from-the-field answer before asking AT&T about it (talking to them is always a last resort).
I feel like the answer is a "yes, of course, because moving your SIM doesn't change that you're still paying monthly for a piece of hardware," but you know, AT&T issues can make utter fools of us all. I don't want to run into some nonsense like "AT&T has detected that your service is not attached to the IMEI of the device you have on your Next plan! Block service immediately!"
(The use case here is that there are occasions where I'd simply like to be using the Mini for its smaller size, in case anyone is curious. Easier to one-hand in many situations.)
Thanks!
- I have an iPhone Pro Max, on AT&T, currently being paid for monthly via their Next program.
- I also have an iPhone Mini.
