I've never had a sweat issue with any watches I've had, but I have also never had any glass backed watches. The glass seals the pores on my arm and makes it sweat instantly. It's never dry, even in an air conditioned room. I've renamed my watch the sweat band.

It's so bad that the sweat wicks around the plastic screen protector I have and causes the touch response to quit working. I've had to remove the screen protector. Not great for me, since I typically replace my watches when they are so scratched I can't see them anymore. I'd prefer to have something on it.

Here's a look at the issue I'm having below.

These protectors have this type of problems, they are simply **** for the AW if you are not just sitting on the fat ass in an office.

Edit: how much do I like US forums .... worlds biggest p o r * industries, but s * i t is not allowed to be written..

I'm not a fan of those type of protectors for that very reason. This is the setup I use on my watch and my wife's watch:

I also like the sport loop bands, I find I don't sweat as much as I do with a leather/rubber sport band.

Thanks for these recommendations! I don't have a sweat issue but I've been considering getting a case and screen protector and these look right up my alley.

Is there an option that is good that resembles the same glass protector for the screen we us on iphones and ipad? Just a square glass overlay that will stick.

I've used the glass screen protectors for previous Apple watches, and they've all been garbage. The corners never stay seated. That's why I use the film protectors. Every so often an edge may peel and I reapply a new one, but they're under $10 and come with multiple protectors in a pack so not a biggie. When applied correctly it's barely noticeable.
