Has anyone given these straps a go whilst swimming?
Interested to know how the velcro holds up.
Thanks!

Velcro is very durable. You should not have any issues with moisture or water. The Most important thing isallow it to properly dry out once you're done using it.

I went with it for a shower after my workout. My AW3 broke :p (replacement should arrive later today), but the sport loop was in perfect condition after it. Also it dried very fast on my wrist.

Are you saying your AW3 wasn't water resistant and the shower ravaged it?

Yep, went for a shower after my workout and the mic got busted. Received my replacement today (happened sunday). Ultra fast! Very happy with AppleCare+.

Did you turn on Water mode to lock the screen? Control Panel in the dock, water droplet icon.

Sure, but that just locks the screen and removes the water from the speaker when unlocking later on.
Just trying to figure out how a 2 day old AW3 was destroyed by the shower. Sounds like a wonky device. Let me know if the replacement sucks too.

It was probably just faulty. I have showered with mine a few times since Friday and done 2 pool swims with the sports loop. It seems to work well, just takes a little bit to dry
