All Devices Swipe back (to article list) in News?

I want to swipe back in News to return to the articles list but a swipe back goes to the previous article. The only way back to the list I know is the back arrow on the top left. Am I missing something? I dont want to find the arrow each time.

Swiping right from left edge takes me back to article list if I’ve selected an article from it

if you swipe middle to lower it takes you to the previous article. If you swipe in the top quarter of the screen it takes you to the list.

I should have specified I am using the Magic Trackpad and in the not too distant future the Magic Keyboard. Thanks for the replies it still does help.

Edit: so you put the cursor anywhere in the title bar and swipe back with two fingers. Any other place on the page go to the previous article. Good to go now.
