This should be a fairly simple question.

I just upgraded to ML from SL and the gestures are different; I have edited them to where I like them but the one gesture I am missing the four finger swipe up that would normally clear everything off the page so you can click icons on the desktop. Now the applications just scatter out and the only way I can find to get back to the desktop is to minimize every single application.

There has got to be an easier way to shortcut to the desktop?

I agree, the Exposé gestures were a lot better in SL. The gesture you're looking for is a four finger spread, i.e moving the thumb and three other fingers apart from each other. This will show the desktop.

Hope I helped!

Thank you very much that was exactly what I was looking for. A little bit more inconvenient but once I use them more they should be alright I guess.

Download and try out the program "Better Touch Tool".

You can make your own gestures to replicate what you had in SL. I just upgraded from SL to ML, and with BTT, my gestures are same as when I was using SL.
