Swipe up to go home intermittently unresponsive iPadOS 18.1.

Has anyone else noticed after the 18.1 update, the most recent beta, that swiping up from the bottom of the iPad screen is intermittently unresponsive. Doing a five finger pinch works fine, but swiping up from the bottom of the screen only works about half the time. I did not have this issue on 18.0 or on iPadOS 17. iPad Pro M4 13 inch.

The 4 corner when you rotate your iPad to unlock, have the same issue? If it is, then most likely the software.
And maybe is the screen protector issue?
Mine I dont see to have problem

I had the same problem… It’s really annoying that you have to try several times before it works…

Since the update to 8.1 beta 4 today this seems to be a lot better.

seems like double tap to type to siri is the issue which was removed this beta, hopefully it will be fixed when the feature returns

edit: ah never mind the feature comes back after a restart and So far no issues.
