iPhone 14 Pro Max Swipe up to open problem

Hello, hi!
Just received my 14 Pro Max. Since I'm a new Iphone user would you be so kind to let me know is this "twiching" at the bottom of the screen normal? I'm trying to swipe up to unlock the phone. It seems like the whole background is going up. Thanks!

Yes that’s normal. But you’re supposed to swipe from the bottom of the screen.

From your picture it looks like the phone is still locked. Did you setup the face recognition to unlock? If it was unlocked you’d be able to swipe up easily to get to your main screen.
