how do i set it up i clicked on a phone but i didnt get the message in my inbox..any help

If you're on At&t, don't even bother. There's some bogus guides scattered about but it doesn't work.

If you're on another carrier, search for swirly here and you'll find some pretty good step-by-steps.

according to swirly you have to have mms enabled from at&t. According to at&t you get mms with the basic message package. ie.. 200 messages equals 200 text, mms or im... but they did something with the iphone plans so you cannot use mms. I have tested this by taking my sim out and using it on another non-iphone... everything works but mms. when i try to use it i get an error message.."mms not enabled". I did chat with one at&t tech that was aware of this. He said i have to take the phone into an at&t office, strip the plan down and put it back on as a non iphone plan. basically trick at&t. unfortunetally I have not found an at&t person at the office that knows how to do this. I have not given up though. I intend to go back and change the plan, or put my sim in another phone and see if I can get them to make it work.

+1 on the bogus AT&T Guides
When AT&T 'sweeps' the network every few hours and detects an iPhone IMEI they disable the MMS portion of the acct.
I've helped a few people get SwirlyMMS to work for a couple hours then it dies. It takes about 15-30mins for the MMS capable phone being on the sim/acct. for the system to allow MMS(you need to make a call to update the system) then you can pop the sim back into the SwirlyMMS iPhone and use SwirlyMMS for a few hours. rinse and repeat if your into the hassle

I have done exactly that, and the mms worked for awhile and no longer works. I wonder if changing the plan will work. Basically I can put the sim in a blackberry and get them to turn it on with a different plan

Are you sure they check the imei's? if so, that may be tough. But I can see a lawsuit over it. AT&T claims it is a multi use plan, and jailbreaking the iphone and using Swirly is not illegal... so, if i pay for a plan and cant use it, then that is breach of contract......
