Can I switch cellular companies at an Apple Store? Noticed online it’s only giving me an option to upgrade // add a new line to a Verizon account. But I’m a new customer. Does anyone know if I can do the new account set up for Verizon in store?

I think that, unless you buy it at a carrier discount/ carrier installments (aka, you pay in full but selected a carrier) you can set up any carrier you want. But not 100% sure, would be nice if someone confirms. Cos this would mean that you can buy a Verizon and use it as unlocked, in case they have separate inventory.
