I just installed a public beta of ios 17 on my iphone. I'd like to switch to depeloper beta (feeling bold...), but it doesn't seem to be possible. I set the check mark to develper beta (which obsiously is a couple of versions ahead of public beta), but the response is "ios is up to date".

What can I do?

Tried to find answers on the Internet, but all the aswers are cencerned with switching from depeloper to public. I want the other way arourd....

They are the same. Public is just released a bit after the Dev. Register for a developer account if you don’t want to wait for the Public.
Well, I am registered. I do have the choice to set the checkmark nest to the developer beta option, but the iphone still says I have the latest version even though I installed the public beta this morning.
Are you sure that there is no newer developer version compared to the public one today?
BTW. Thanks for a quick response! :)

The developer and public betas are usually the same builds. Only difference is that the public beta is released a few days after the developer beta (to make sure there aren't any major bugs before releasing it to a wider audience). Both are currently on the same build right now, so there is nothing to update to.

Thanks a lot. That's what I suspected but couldn't find the words to express it. As long as both the developer and public are on the same build there's of course nothing to upgrade to.

Thank you very, very much!
