Love the size of my mini but I did always feel like I was missing out on the cameras and the new promotion screen has me thinking of switching to the 13 pro this year. Anyone made a similar switch from the mini to regular size? Will it be too big or heavy?

I had an 11 Pro, went to the 12 mini because it was close in physical size to my beloved 6s. The 12 mini's screen was so tiny I had some issues with it. Kept switching glasses between using my laptop and my phone, because the print is so tiny. Love the small size, but switching back to the 13 Pro for screen real estate. Also, in the past few months, I've been noticing that my battery is very low at the end of the evening. It hasn't been a problem, but if I had a sudden emergency where I had to be standing outside for hours (like a fire), then I'd be in trouble with that battery.
My batteries on my 12 Pro max and my two minis have been draining unusually fast since I installed the very latest update that was supposed to be for security. I don’t know what that’s all about.
The length and width are not going to be a dramatic difference for a lot of people. I did have problems with the balance/weight distribution on the 12 Pro and I returned it for the 12 Pro Max which I found felt easier to grip after trying out my husband’s phone. But I don’t know anyone else in my family that thought the 12 Pro was hard to hold. Just me. I’m a petite woman with a touch of arthritis in my hands.
13 Pro will be very heavy and it’s thicker. My case arrived and I can see that. But it will still slip into my pockets and clutch purses.
I’m getting it for the cameras but I’m glad I can keep my 12 mini for all around use on my main line.
