Setting up my wife's phone on iCloud, I accidentally used my Apple ID instead of hers. Do I really have to restore all over again? It doesn't seem there's a way to "switch" iCloud accounts straight from the phone.

Go to settings, iCloud, and then "delete account" and choose to keep the info on the phone. then it lets you tie it to another Apple ID and re-syncs.

Will that delete my iCloud account completely or just from that phone?

Makes sense. I guess I was just afraid the "big red button" would delete my iCloud account as a whole.

Thanks guys.
