iPad mini Switcheasy Pelle/Canvas question

I have the canvas edition. Very pleased. The fit is perfect and the bezel is not covered at all. Actually amazed how well it fits. A very minor complaint is that now my Mini has a little bit of weight to it, whereas before I was always amazed at the light weight. so, the trade off is is a little bulk for a great cover. I am happy. The price is very good. Go for it. can you tell I am "amazed". ??????
 
How well does the cover fold back? The ipad 3/4 version seems like it needs a bit of force to bend/fold back behind the ipad. I'm looking at getting one of those two cases but that little key on the Pelle causing a little bump there when folded back feels like a turnoff.
