Switching between iPhones and iCloud backups

So here is my situation.. I had a Xs and I switched to a 11 pro a few weeks ago. When I made this switch, I just did an iCloud backup (AppleID -> iCloud -> iCloud backup -> Back up now) on the Xs and then turned it off and when I setup the 11, I just restored from that backup.

I now want to switch back to my Xs and was wondering what would be the best way to do this without loosing any data since I switched. I was going to just do the iCloud backup on the 11 and wanted to restore from this on the Xs.. how do I go about doing this since the Xs is already setup with my Apple ID ? Also both phones show up as separate devices under my Apple ID.. does that mean they have separate backups now ? Any help would be appreciated.. thanks in advance!

You can see the available backups for each device at AppleID > iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups. If your 11 Pro has a backup attached to it, the backup will show there.

If there is no back up listed for your 11 Pro, you should just be able to switch back to the XS and pick up where you left off.

So I do see backups for both the devices.. what I am wanting to achieve is switch back to my Xs but also have all the new data from the 11 for the last few weeks since I switched..
