I received a new 7 almost two weeks ago. I had a 6s+ previously.
I am inside the 15 days to return the 7. I want to go back to a Plus.
Will I be able to use my current backup from my 7 to load the 7+?
It was a real pain to get the 7 up and running. I’d prefer to not go through that again.
Wil I have to go and re-install all the apps and ApplePay, etc, etc?

Thanks

Your backup will work fine. I think you’ll have to re-setup Apple Pay.

Thanks. I figure I could live with that. I guess I’ll have to see what else it throws at me if I do it and go from there. So, I don’t select ‘New Phone’ but rather use an existing backup, right?

FWIW....I didn’t go for the Plus. After the effort to get the 7 where I wanted it, I didn’t want any chance of having to do it all over again. That, and reality is that the real issue is my eyesight, and the Plus wasn’t going to fix that. The Plus might have made a minor difference, but I didn’t want to give up the small size of the regular 7. I love it now. I have come to grips with the reduced battery life.
