i love my MacBook Pro, but my only frustration is battery life. I feel like it doesn’t last long enough, so I have been considering buying a new one. Is it worth it switching to a MacBook Air?

Well it was from my and I went from a 2016 pro too. The keyboard feels nicer to type on and my battery lives up to the marketing hype. Lasts all day for me. I work 12 hour shifts and have it on for almost the entire time

It was for me as well, coming from a 2016 Pro 15" (work) to a 2018 Air (personal). Used the Pro mostly for development and running multiple VMs. I don't do much development now but still run a Windows 10 VM (off Boot Camp) and all work very well on the Air.

I think ultimately it depends on what you want to do on the Mac.
